Did you know Southern California is a conifer Mecca, with over a dozen native conifers, three of which are endemic only to Southern California? We will see most of them on our two-day trip on the Angeles Crest and at Torrey Pines State Park, including the really rare species: Pinus coulteri (Coulter pine), Pinus torreyana (Torrey pine), and Pseudotsuga macrocarpa (bigcone Douglas-fir).

Please join us for a Conifer Road Trip in Southern California April 18 and 19, 2015. This trip is for people of all levels of fitness and health. All stops will have options for pavement walking or trail hiking, or just relaxing.
